What an honour to be serving with Mercy Ships for the remainder of my six months travelling in Africa. I love the heart of Mercy Ships to serve the forgotten poor with hope and healing. Many years ago, I asked God to send me to the forgotten people, those overlooked by society. I feel that this is one such opportunity. An added bonus is that I get to spend Easter in Cameroon.
There are times in my life where God wants me to spend getting deeper in touch with His heart for me. During these times He gives me clues for a few things, but keeps many of the details a mystery for me to discover along the way. For now, this is my story with South Africa.
Following Harvest School, I will be joining a team for an outreach to Blantyre, Malawi. This will be a special time of pouring into the Iris base in Malawi with a children's home and other ministry arms. We will be spending Christmas here; which I have been assured will be a very joyous occasion!
Every year God takes me to the NT (Northern Territory) and shows me a deeper layer of His love for this nation, Australia. This year, it takes me to Darwin. I also have some very dear friends which I treasure spending time with. Our love for God is revealed in the way we love those around us. I look forward to spending more time seeing the Father's heart for His beloved Australia.
I am so excited to spend time at the Passover with the Messianic community celebrating together. Jesus was and still is a Jewish man who came to a Jewish culture. It is amazing to have this beautiful opportunity to see the rich history of where communion at the last supper comes from.
This time in Tasmania is about spending time reconnecting with a friend who has been serving in missions for many years. I am so thankful that this opportunity has come up. God has blessed me. I know God will refresh not just my heart in this time, but also my friend's heart.
HOLIDAYS are for adventures with Jesus and sisters. I am so blessed to have precious time in Canada with my sister. We have had a few God Adventures together over the years and this will be no exception. We already have a few prophetic words for what God is up to.
And a friend surprised us with news of a Canadian winter wedding, while we are in town. So much fun!
HOLIDAYS for the heart and soul are often times of deep refreshing. I have found holidays are also times of God revealing the mysteries of the past season/s in our lives. Plus, Sneaky Jesus always has a way of surprise ministry opportunities. Wherever I am, that's where He is.
Bring on the snow!
My next stop in my travelling adventures is Alabama, the heart of the south. I am looking forward to more "behind the scenes" ministry. Discipleship looks like relationship with people, not just an "in and out" style minsitry. God has been leading me this way for many years and I feel that He will open many personal conversations with people, along with informal home group meetings and fellowship.
What an honour to be part of a mission trip to a Native American Reservation! I will be joining a team lead by a good friend of mine, Jim Rogers from Experiencing His Presence Ministries.
For me, this trip is about getting on the ground with these people and bringing hope into their hearts. Jesus is God's love for these beautiful people.
Throughout history, God had people go up to the high places and pray over the land. I have often gone up the high places in an area to pray over the surrounding land. With Mount Kosciuszko being the highest point of mainland Australia, I feel the significance to climb this mountain and pray over Australia.
Prayer missions come in all shapes and sizes. I will be doing a road trip up from Melbourne to Brisbane at the end of the year with my sister. We are covering the southern and eastern points of mainland Australia, as well as going to Mount Kosciuszko, the highst point of Australia.
This is a gypsy trip, with no strict plans being set in place. We are excited to be going free-style listening to the Holy Spirit in each step that we go and not being restricted by established plans.
I have been asked to be part of the team for a conference hosted here in Melbourne. I am expecting God to continue releasing revelation to expand our hearts. Not always comfortable initially, but the growth which comes out of it is significant. We are asking God to release an expansion over Melbourne and over Australia.
My friend Milly Bennitt of Cabin Academy is one of the guest speakers for the weekend. I am sure this will be a delightful time together in His presence.
How exciting to join the worship team for this conference. It will be a time of God revealing the Sons and showing His power. Healings, miracles, signs and wonders are sure to be part of the conference.
In prayer for this conference, God has shown us that there will be things opening up in the Spirit that we have not seen over Melbourne before. He is going to open the spiritual ears of these people and this city.
Sundown on the 22nd of September marks the beginning of the Day of Atonement. This is a pivotal time in transition to the Jewish New Year and I believe this is significant to Australia and the restoration of the land at its heart. Alice Springs is the epicentre of our nation and the indigenous people in Australia carry the heartbeat of our nation. This is leading into the Jewish feast of Tabernacles beginning on the eve of the 27th of September.
Join us for several days of jammed pack outreach and cultural experience in the heart of our nation, followed by worship on Friday night. We believe this will shift something huge over our nation, as we plunge into the depths of worship like never before. How deep can we go? This trip is not for the faint hearted.
This is going to be an amazing night of revelation on living life both in heaven and on earth. Being asked to contribute in the worship team and sharing communion, I am excited to be a part of this amazing night.
My friend Mark Steen (website) will be sharing his experiences from when he died and went to heaven. He carries an amazing revelation of God's love for us and the revelation of Jesus.
